MARKING CRITERIA

90% EXAMS SCORE
10% PERSONAL WORK SCORE


(1) EXAMS SCORE:

a) We evaluate:
- Vocabulary (20%)         - Reading + Culture (25%)
- Grammar (20%)            - Writing (25%)
- Listening (10%)

* Minimum mark required per skill section: 3. Otherwise, the exam will be marked fail.   
* Percentages valid for the 1st and 3rd term. In the 2nd term, the percentages will change to Vocab + Grammar (40%), Listening (10%), Reading + Culture (20%), Writing (20%), Reader (10%).      


b) We value:
- Cleanliness, clarity and neatness in the exam and the proposed exercises.
- Calligraphy.

c) We require:
- Punctuality.
- Good attitude during the test: keep quiet, work etc.




(2) PERSONAL WORK SCORE:

a) We evaluate:
- Speaking activities (10%)
- Homework, Classwork and Attitudes (20%)


-Classroom activities:
  The four skills: Reading & Listening, Writing & Speaking
  The three areas: Vocabulary, Grammar, Pronunciation.

- Tasks:
  Homework, projects and other works.
  Clarity and organisation.
  Error correction.

- Attitudes:
  Good behaviour and poise.
  Active participation in activities and in the development of the sessions.
  Respect.


b) We require:
- Punctuality at entrance.
- Stay sitting until your teacher (not the ringbell!!) indicates you can leave.
- Keep silent and attentive.
